Other Appropriate Times - The co workers of the bride may decide to give the bride an office shower. At the office shower, those that know the bride well will give her a gift. Generally speaking the gifts are something for the home. But, they are often much less costly than the gifts given at a bridal shower. The office shower is less formal, generally only being a lunch hour occasion. There should also be a cake and/or a deli tray presented to those that come to the shower. The person closest to the bride will give her the shower but a boss can do so as well.
As we talk about our wedding bombonieres (bomboniere boxes, wedding favor boxes), there can be so many types. There are practical favors, theme based favors, seasonal favors, edible favors, fairy tale wedding favors, wine wedding favors, garden wedding favors, golf wedding favors etc. Seasonal wedding favors wedding bombonieres (bomboniere boxes, wedding favor boxes) are according to a particular season and its theme. For example: if it is winter, a look and gift that resemble to this season will be chosen. For summers, some flowers etc. would be given. The main purpose of these beautiful gifts and favors is to serve as a token of appreciation for attending the wedding.
The Big Gift - That would be the cookware set. Not everyone is in love with stainless steel. The best bet would be non-stick cookware. The best on the market today is hard anodized aluminum, which replaces the teflon cookware of the past. Its very durable, uses very little oil and is safe. There are different price points depending on the brand. This would be something that lets say, the bridal party would \"chip in\" for or maybe given by a family member (mother of the bride or groom) perhaps.
